Q. Can I use my Wrap-N-Guard Wind Guard as a Chafing Dish Stand?

A.  No, you need the support of four corners and the wind guards are a little too wide. They have 12" wide panels and the chafing dish stands are only 10.5" wide. The wind guards are desined to go around the outside of a chafing dish. 

Q.  How and why do I save money on canned fuel with WRAP-N-GUARD products?

A. Wrap-N-Guard products protect your canned fuel from the wind. Wind accelerates your fuel usage. Instead of your heat blowing away in the wind, it is now contained and in constant contact with the water pan. Generally you will requrie only half the fuel to keep your food at proper serving temperatures. That is where your savings takes place. Put hot water, the hotter the better in your chafing dish water pan. Use just one sterno at a time instead of the usual two because the flame is now protected and will have costant contact with the water pan and will keep your water very hot.

Q. The panels are made of stainless steel, are the corners stainless steel too?

A.  No, the corners are made from heavy duty aircraft quality aluminum and then are bright dip anodized for a harder longer lasting product and finish

Q. What is bright dip anodized? Is it coating or paint?

A.  No, it is not a coating or paint. Bright dip anodize is an expensive process that is performed to Aluminum to prevent the aluminum from oxidizing and producing a dull finish. More importantly is to strengthen and harden Aluminum so that is is no longer a soft metal. In fact, it becomes so hard that it can't be welded.

Q.  Can Wrap-N-Guard be put in the dishwasher?

A. Yes, however we do recommend just cleaning them with mild soap and water. Test just one item so that you will know exactly how your dishwasher, water, soap etc... will react to the product.

Q.  Can I use stainless steel polish on the corners too?

A. Yes, A mild spray polish, not a polish with grit. 

Q.  What does the lifetime warranty cover?

A. The warranty covers any and all material and manufacturing defects. We do not cover  any accidents or abuse of the equipment. 

Q. Can I get panels made with my company logo on them?

A. Yes,  there is a one time set-up fee of $79.99 and each panel is then just $20.00. The logo is printed directly on to the metal panel and then the panels receive a protective UV coating. We recommend that you never place logoed panels in the dishwasher. Our process is far superior to silk screening. We can actually do detailed graphics. Q. Will Wrap-N-Guard Wind Guards work around wire chafer?

A. They work awesome around wire chafers. In fact, with wire chafers and Wrap-N-Guard Wind Guards, they combine to provide extremely portable units. 

Q. I dropped a corner and now the panel fits tighter, how can I open the slot so the panel can slide easier? 

A. Place a wide slotted screwdriver in the slot and gently pry the slot back open.  If it is too damaged, we always have replacement parts available.
