Train-A-Tree
Train-A-Tree
- The goal of Train-A-Tree is to help you produce healthy strong trees that will look great, be productive and last a long time. We truly believe that traing is the important thing you can do for your trees. With proper training, pruning becomes real easy. If you have fruit trees and want to maximize your fruit loads, this is what you need to do. We have found no other system to help you do this. Train-A-Tree is so easy, anyone can do it.
- This is what most trees look like when purchased. Without proper training it will we a very weak and un-productive tree. The crotch angles will produce lot's of bark inclusion and will be very difficult to maintain. Eventually large damaging cuts will need to be made on the tree to hollow it out and make it manageable. It all could be avoided with just a little training early on.
- Using spreaders to push the branching to develop strong crotch angles.
- Adding the weights after the spreaders have done their job will train the lateral branching to produce very strong branches capable of handleing the maximum fruit loads this tree will produce. Train-a-Tree helps you train your trees small, medium and large. It is so easy to do. All you do is place the weights or spreaders on the trees. It's that easy.
- This is the proper branching angle to develop the maximum amount of fruit and proper leaf. The goal is to get your branches to 10 & 2 on the clock
- This is a typical branch. They reach for the sky. This will produce lot's of leaf and very little fruit. The fruit will be mostly on the tips of the branches.
- This diagram shows a young trees frame that will become a very strong tree. The braching is staggered well with proper crotch angles. This tree will produce lot's of fruit.
